Fog condition: The average fog day is 12 days per year, and the fog day with horizontal visibility less than 1 kilometer has 6.4 days, mainly in winter and spring. Temperature: The annual average temperature is 22.4 C, the extreme maximum temperature is 38.7 C, and the extreme minimum temperature is 0.2 C. Tides and tidal currents: the maximum tidal range in the western harbor area is 3.44 meters, and the average tidal range is 1.36 meters. The maximum tidal current speed in Shenzhen Bay is 0.78 m/s, and the flow direction is 8 degrees, the maximum tidal current speed is 0.75 m/s and the flow direction is 167 degrees. The Max tidal current velocity in Mawan is 1.48 m/s, flowing to 150 degrees, and the max ebb current velocity is 1.91 m/s, flowing to 350 degrees. The maximum tidal range in the eastern harbor area is 2.57 meters, with an average tidal range of 1.07 meters. Navigation information Waterway: Shekou Port Area: There are 2 inbound waterways, 6,100 meters long in shallow water, 6 meters deep in water and 80 meters wide, which can import 5,000-ton ships by tide; 2,600 meters long in deep water, 10.5 meters deep in water and 11 meters wide in tide, and 50,000-ton ships can be inbound and outbound by tide. Chiwan Harbour Area: The approach channel is 785 meters from the entrance to the bauxite channel. The water depth is 10.6 meters and the width is 120 meters. It may sail 35,000 tons of ships and 50,000 tons of ships by tide. Waiting anchorage is located on both sides of the main waterway within the range of 4000-8940 meters outside the entrance, and the water depth is over 13 meters. Dongjiaotou Port Area: 1600 meters of inbound waterway and 6 meters of natural water depth. Mawan Port Area: The channel is 7200 meters long, 500 meters wide and 11 meters deep. It can navigate 30,000 tons of ships. The depth of the tide is 13 meters, the duration of the tide ride is 2 hours, and the tide ride can be used to navigate 50,000 tons of ships. Yantian Port Area: The waterway is a natural waterway, which can be used as anchorage in a wide range. The Ministry of Communications has planned it as one of the four major international deepwater transit ports in China. Anchorage: Shekou Port Area: South of Chiwan Artificial Channel, with an area of 17.03 square kilometers. Chiwan Port Area: 2.54 million square meters of pilotage and quarantine anchorage for No. 1, 10 million square meters for No. 2 general cargo ship, 2.5 million square meters for No. 3 tanker, 5 million square meters for No. 4 petroleum working ship and small boat, and 5 million square meters for anchorage. Mawan Port Area: Anchor No. 1 covers an area of 246,300 square meters with a water depth of 10 meters; Anchor No. 2 covers an area of 460,800 square meters with a water depth of 9 meters. Shenzhen Port is located in the south of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Province. The Pearl River estuary is on the east coast of Lingdingyang, adjacent to Hong Kong. The city's 260 km coastline, the Kowloon Peninsula is divided into two parts, East and West. Located on the eastern coast of Lingding Ocean at the Pearl River estuary, the western port area has wide water depth and good natural barrier. It is 20 nautical miles from Hong Kong in the South and 60 nautical miles from Guangzhou in the north. It can reach domestic coastal ports and ports all over the world through Hong Kong Dark Tuton waterway. The Eastern Harbour Area is located in Dapeng Bay. The water depth is 12-14 meters. The sea surface is open and calm. It is an excellent natural harbour in South China. Shenzhen Port has built 9 ports, including Shekou, Chiwan, Mawan, Dongjiaotou, Yantian, Fushui, Xiadong, Shayuchung and Inland River. By the end of 2004, 141 berths of all kinds above 500 tons have been built, including 53 berths above 10,000 tons, 86 operational berths, including 39 berths above 10,000 tons and 14 special container terminals. In 1991, it began to enter the ranks of ten domestic coastal ports. In 2004, the cargo throughput reached 135 million tons, an increase of 20.17% over 2003; the average growth rate of container throughput in Shenzhen Port reached 45% in the past five years; container throughput ranked second in domestic coastal ports for six consecutive years; in 2004, the container throughput of Shenzhen Port reached 13659 million tons, ranking fourth in the world. Export commodities are mainly made up of "three-capital" enterprises, mainly through processing trade of raw materials, and the export structure of mechanical and electrical products and high-tech products is constantly strengthening.
